Sisterhood Relationship with Sambang Village in Chungju City

Woori Financial Group set up a sisterhood relationship with Sambang village located in Judeok town in Chungju city to support regional economy activation on 17th.

After the agreement at the community hall, employees and executives of Woori Financial Group and Woori PE carried out sorting works of apples with the villagers.

With this relationship as a momentum, Woori Financial Group intends to continue a variety of interacting activities such as regular voluntary works for the village and revitalization of direct trading of agricultural products. This relationship will be expanded to all affiliates until this December.

An official of Woori Financial Group said, “We expect the sisterhood relationship to be a foundation for mutual growth between rural and metropolitan areas. We will also continue and expand interacting activities with rural areas.”
