Signed a Strategic Alliance with HF   

- Agreement on co-development of new financial products and vitalization of financial product sales
- Real contribution to the home ownership of the homeless masses through lowering interest rate of Bogeumjari Loan

Woori Investment & Securities and Korea Housing Finance Corp. signed an agreement on co-development of new financial products and vitalization of financial product sales on July 6.

Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly develop a variety of fund products such as Bogeumjari Fund and reverses mortgage plans, and offer prime rate to subscribers. Woori Investment & Securities will also participate in underwriting HF’s bonds including MBS more proactively.

In Particularly, Woori Investment & Securities determined to launch ‘Bogeumjari Fund’ for the first time in the industry by establishing ties with ‘Bogeumjari Loan’ of HF which is a kind of public loan product with low fixed interest rate to help the homeless masses.

This product will be launched early August and the commission will be the lowest level in the industry. Parts of commission will be also invested in the public fund for supporting the homeless masses, which will be real contribution to their home ownership. This product will incorporate HF’s MBS more than a certain ratio to contribute to HF’s fund raising.

An official of the company said, “The ‘Bogeumjari Fund’ will be the first case of jointly participating in social contribution activities with public enterprises through financial products. We will continue to develop public financial products with HF and make every effort to offer advanced financial services.”
