
Support from Woori Bank
for Social Enterprises
Woori Bank has concluded a business agreement with the Ministry of Employment and Labor for supporting ecosystems for social enterprises, and has provided long-term financing and management consultation for startup funding and loan support, etc. In recognition of this effort, Woori Bank became the sole financial institution to be awarded the Presidential Citation for Promoting Social Enterprise in June 2017.

Participation in the Impact Investing Fund
Woori Financial Holdings became the first financial institution to join the 1st domestic fund to vitalize social finance (Impact Investing) with an investment of 5 billion KRW. It will aid 17 impact areas and create positive social and environmental impact while generating financial income to create jobs, guarantee employment, and build social infrastructure facilities.
