To encourage employee participation in social contribution activities, each affiliate raises its own funds voluntarily.
Woori Love Fund
The fund is raised by collecting a certain amount from each employee’s monthly salary (1,000 KRW or 0.1-0.2 % for each account), which is then used for supporting social welfare facilities and medical expenses for child patients, etc.
Major Support Projects
- Woori Love Fund Contest Project: supporting great programs of social welfare facilities
- Support for Employee Volunteer Organizations: supporting volunteering at social welfare facilities and donations
- Other Social Contribution Activities: 1:1 matching grant (donations from employees : donations from affiliates)
Woori Child Love Fund
For co-social contribution of labor and management, the Child Love Fund is collected from monthly salaries (any amount remaining below 10,000 KRW units) and is used for children welfare businesses.
Major Support Projects
- Supporting Underfed Children: providing the “A Meal Alone” project for Childfund Korea with about 3.6 million KRW monthly
- Supporting children and teenagers from low-income families
- Supporting social welfare foundations and organizations related to children
