Woori Art Competitions Hosted

The 23rd annual Woori Art Competition, an event hosted by Woori Bank since 1995, is the representative social contribution activity of Woori Bank in the field of culture and arts. Over the past 25 years, more than 750,000 children and youth have participated in the Woori Art Competition, known for its long history and tradition of nurturing talent to lead the arts in South Korea. Notably in 2020, the preliminary and main competitions were hosted online for the first time in the financial industry: we thus celebrated the festival with a new paradigm, to make sure children and youth can pursue their hopes and dreams even under difficulties such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

We have participated in nurturing the dreams and hopes in the arts among children from culturally marginalized backgrounds by providing dialogue-oriented art education programs targeting children in community child centers and livelihood protection facilities.
